Wizard, Deadliest Catch Seattle Home Port, AK Bering Sea Crabber, Ship Canal Time to Alaska Summer Salmon Tender!!!
Wizard & Northwestern, Deadliest Catch Bering Sea Crabbers are up in Alaska for summer salmon tendering. These AK Deadliest Catch boats are Seattle and Ballard staples on the waterfront. They are really only in the PNW Seattle for late spring after crabbing to early summer fixing the boat, doing tons of shipyard work refitting the boat from crab gear to loading on salmon tender gear. In the fall they are here for what seems like a touch and go, they get back from AK tendering then, the game is on to get the boat ready for AK Bering Sea Crabbing. Crabbing is where the high stress and big money is. Salmon Tendering is fun of course and certainly more of a grind, with a lot of hurry up and waite for the fishermen to offload that openings catch.
Deadliest Catch has brought what happens on deck to people’s living rooms in the lower 48 and around the world. Who know people at home would want to watch a bunch of stinky guys work on deck and grind it out day and night! Wizard and Northwestern are a – pin prick – of AK Bering Sea Crabbers. The Seattle Ship Canal is salt and peppered with crab boats!
