The City of Des Moines Marina is a public marina with a stationary EMP SaniSailor pumpout on the fuel dock, and a barge mounted portable EMP pumpout. The marina is in the process of adding a stationary Edson unit on the guest moorage dock. There is no charge for using these self-pump facilities, and any size vessel can be accommodated.
The marina is open the year around offering gasoline and diesel fuel for purchase on-site.
There are 22 guest moorage slips for $20 to $100 per night depending on the size of vessel. 30 and 50 amp electrical service is available for $3 per night.
The minimum depth for moorate is 8 feet at a 0 tide. There are no buoys.
The facility offers a boat haul out and marine repair services are available locally. There is a seasonal boat launch available off-site at Redondo with a $10 per day parking fee.
There is one flush restroom with one men’s and one women’s shower available at no cost. This facility is available to guest moorage tenants only. Potable water is available at the fuel and guest moorage docks. Garbage and recycle service is provided. Picnic tables available.
