City of Fort Lauderdale’s 4th of July Spectacular
The 4th of July Spectacular features a patriotic extravaganza with a kids zone, live music, and a dazzling fireworks display. The kids zone provides nonstop energy and excitement with plenty of music, bounce houses, face painting, old-fashioned hot dog and watermelon eating contests, and a variety of other amusing beach games. As the sun goes down, the celebration heats up with live music and entertainment from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Featured artists include rock and roll band, Relyx, and headliners, The Long Road, performing their classic “Ultimate Eagles Tribute Experience”.
At 9 p.m., all eyes will turn toward the sky for the City’s fireworks show. This dazzling pyrotechnic display is an annual favorite of children and adults of all ages. This year, the fireworks show will be set to music and simulcast on Lite 101.5 FM so folks will be able to both see and hear a one-of-a-kind 4th of July spectacular!
4th of July All-American Celebration in Tamarac, FL near Fort Lauderdale, FL
The 4th of July All-American Celebration is a Tamarac, FL tradition. Celebrate the biggest and best birthday party in the City of Tamarac right outside of Fort Lauderdale at the All-American Celebration Event! You’re invited to a free outdoor concert, and an entertainment area with fun rides, arts & crafts, games, and food trucks.

Hollywood, FL’s Hometown Fourth
Hollywood’s Hometown Fourth in Hollywood, FL is one of the best events you’ll find in the area as an all day spectacular. The afternoon is packed with entertainment from 1 p.m-5 p.m, children’s fun and games with DJ Chulo will entertain the crowd at the oceanfront Charnow Park, located at Garfield Street and the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk.
From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., there will be arts and crafts off Buchanan and New York Street. From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Hollywood Beach Theatre at Johnson Street will feature a live music performance by Pocket Change, followed by a star-spangled spectacular fireworks display offshore at 9 p.m.
View Fireworks from Several Different Shows at Vista View
Vista View Park fireworks viewing will take place at the highest manmade elevation in Broward County. Depending on weather conditions, one can see fireworks displays from Davie, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Plantation and Sunrise. Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood fireworks may even be seen. Most of these shows are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m., but you’re welcome to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets and come early to get a good spot.
The park opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. The entry fee is good for admission all day; present your receipt for re-entry. You are also invited to bring your own refreshments, although hard liquor and glass containers are not allowed. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.
