Seattle Christmas Boat Parade, December 16, 2023 – Lake Union full loop with no bridge lifts. The Christmas Boat Parade starts at 7:00pm sharp at the sound of the jolting wheelhouse loud horns kicking of the mains in go mode. Every year hundres of boats come out and join the parade, no amount of wild or calm weather stops or slows down our Pacific Northwest Maritime and Boating community. Join us on the water or view the parade from the beach.

Seattle Christmas Boat Parade is a Lake Union Loop, No Bridge Lifts:

Parade Start – In front of Fremont Tug Boats – East of The Aurora Bridge, Directly Across from Morrison’s Fuel Dock

End – At Morrison’s Fuel Dock

Vessels Line up: Start Next to: Fremont Tugboats – Line Up, W to E – Toward Gasworks Park & so on….follow the leader…
1^st Lead Boat – Western Towboat, Tugboat – Bright Yellow & Blue Tug

At 7:00pm sharp is the Start of Seattle Christmas Boat Parade. The route usually hugs the beach giving great visibilty to all of the houseboats, floating homes, restaurants and waterfront condo’s. Other great Boat Parade Viewing Spots Include: Chandler’s Cove and the Park by the Center for Woodend Boats, MOHAI Park South Lake Union, Gasworks Park, Ivar’s Salmon House Restaunt and park next door.

Seattle Christmas Boat Parade is presented by Salty Dog Family of Companies and the Northwest Maritime Industry and Community. It’s an annual holiday celebration that has been a Northwest tradition for yachts, workboats and sailboats. Hundreds of different – makes and models of boats and yachts in the Puget Sound waterfront communities show up with uniquely decorated and themed Christmas decorations from bow to stern, tip to tip these boats are very lit up and festive.
