Sea Owl, Feadship Builder, 203 ft, (62 meter) summer means superyachts are making their to the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and the greater Seattle water regions. Sea Owl is a unique hunter green hull known as Burger’s green with a massive white superstructure. Feadship built Sea Owl, is a glamorous and unique looking mega yacht to hit Seattle WA Ship Canal at sunset after just entering Shilshole Bay, then clearing the Ballard Locks for a canal lift and on to a Ballard and Fremont Bridge lifts then up the canal eastbound to put the boat to bed on Lake Union, just at the tip of summer.

Feadship, Sea Owl at 62 meters engulfs the WA Ship Canal during a Ballard Bridge lift. This mega yacht has many one of a kind custom features, Sea Owl’s designer is Andrew Winch who grew up outside of Kensington Gardens in London, where a bronze statue of Peter Pan has enchanted decades of children since 1912. Peter Pan is one of several fairy tales and scholarly books that have inspired the decor, as the designers worked closely with family members to personalise each room and encourage the children to explore real and imaginary worlds as Disney has done for worldwide children and families. Sea Owl is a superyacht where quality family time with adults and children is a fun, relaxing priority.
Sea Owl features many inspirations, such as being decorated with frescos of fossilised seashells that a young Charles Darwin, the lower deck is a creative pirate-themed room; and cabins with scenes from Alice in Wonderland and much more to inspire adults and encourage a child’s heart of creativity.

Dutch Builder Feadship handed possession over to the superyacht owner in 2013. Sea Owl is owned by Robert Mercer, at around 70 years young, he is known as a family man of priorities and inventor of computer scientist movements of Renaissance Technologies. Mercer is one of the top earning hedge fund managers. His massive manse in Long Island, New York is called Owl’s Nest. His custom superyacht and custom home follow in his ‘owl theme.’
