OceanGrafix was established in July 2000, after being awarded a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) from NOAA. At that time, NOAA’s goal was to find a partner who could develop an improved system for printing and distributing fully up to date nautical charts “on demand.” OceanGrafix became that partner and continues to maintain its relationship with NOAA.
