After a rough and challenging crab season the Northwestern runs down hill from Alaska’s Bering Sea, departing Dutch Harbor to finally land in the lower 48 of Seattle in the heart of Ballard on the Seattle Ship Canal. After the downhill run the Northwestern zips over to Fishermen’s Terminal to unload crab post at fast record speed then to their home port of Pacific Fishermen Shipyard. Our Salty Dog Boating News, Salty Dog 105 pound Lab see’s all crabber marine traffic underway 1st when they make their way to fresh water for that Ballard Locks lift into the canal for home free times. The Northwestern, like all other AK Deadliest Catch crabbers spend their summers back in in Alaska for summer salmon tender season, life in the hook, watching movies and racing for fastest offloaders…. crabbers are freaking crazy crane operators, no joke, from experience, yes they are fast but watch your head, head’s up, and fast feet and fingers.

GOD BLESS OUR FISHER-MEN & FISHER-WOMEN

& their families….. go catching….!!!
