Mayan Queen, 92m Superyacht in Seattle, she made her way up the WA Ship Canal this afternoon in late May, her massive mega yacht length and size engulfed the canal and bridge lifts eastbound to Lake Union. Not many superyachts dwarf the Ballard Bridge when getting a lift, Mayan Queen made the Bridge look tiny compared to her massive superstructure huge towing height, looking like a skyscraper on the water.
Mayan Queen, mega yacht owner is Alberto Bailleres the owner of one the largest mining companies in the world. A large ‘B’ is in her top house superstructer. Through Bailleres private holding firm Grupo Bal he holds the shares of Industries, Penoles which is the second largest mining company of Mexico. Penoles produces 25,000 kg of gold and 2,5 million kg of silver annually.
The world’s largest silver producer is Industrias Penoles. Bailleres also owns a number of department stores, of high end retailer with brand names such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry and Prada.
