Fishermen’s Fall Festival, September 21, 2019; Fishermen’s Terminal in the Seattle Ship Canal celebration of Fishermen’s Fall Festival is every Fall. The Festival celebrates the return of the North Pacific fishing fleet with a welcome home from Alaska to the terminal, this festival works to increase the public’s knowledge of the importance of the fishing industry as well as Fishermen’s Terminal to Seattle while raising funds for the Seattle Fishermen’s Memorial Foundation. Fishermen’s Fall Festival is an annual event that provides families with a fun and educational outing on the Seattle Ship Canal waterfront as well as an opportunity to learn more about wild seafood. Hands-on art projects with fishing themes, including the popular wooden boat building and trout pond, are complimentary for all children and admission to the festival is free. Proceeds from the other activities within the festival are donated to the Seattle Fishermen’s Memorial to aid families of fishers lost at sea. All proceeds from the festival are proudly appreciated by the supportive PNW community.
Fans of Discovery Channel, Deadliest Catch are chomping at the bit to see who shall be in attendance at the Fishermen’s Fall Festival. Fans will enjoy – Deadliest Catch appearances will be present, usually the F/V Brenna A, Captain Sean Dwyer, family and crew. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet captains and crew and get fan photo shots. Deadliest Catch crews usual have participation in the Survival Suit races.
