The Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) is one of the most established marina and watersports clubs in the region, and has become the driving force behind the growth of national and international water sport events in the Middle East. Located on Dubai’s rapidly developing waterfront, next to the Le Meridien – Mina Seyahi and the iconic Palm Jumeirah, DIMC is the ideal venue partner for the Dubai International Boat Show. Hotels, restaurants and nightlife within walking distance make it a prime location for residents and international visitors.

Last year’s show featured two of the world’s largest superyachts – the 88.5 metre Nirvana and 88 metre Quattroelle. The 88.5-metre-long superyacht Nirvana, built by Oceanco and exhibited by Edmiston, is one of the world’s top 50 longest superyachts and the exhibition’s largest-ever superyacht to date. Nirvana is crafted using the world’s most exquisite materials and features two helipads, six decks, a stage for live performances, a 3D cinema and more. It has a range of 6,800 nautical miles, a maximum speed of 19.5 knots and can accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins with 27 onboard crew. The 88 metre Quattroelle superyacht, built by German shipyard Lürssen, was also showcased last year. The luxury superyacht features elegant accommodation for up to 12 guests and provides plenty of exterior deck space for entertainment and relaxation. The 2015 show will have even more big boats, and an even bigger attendance.

Demonstrating the region’s growing maritime market, 750 exhibitors – with a 20% increase in new exhibitors compared to 2013 – from 50 countries around the world made a splash at last years show. Last years’ visitors also enjoyed many different sectors at the Dubai International Boat Show, including The SYBAssLounge organised by the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss), Marina Display, Outdoor Display, Luxury Supplies and Services, Equipment Supplies and Services, Dive Middle East Exhibition, Supercar Promenade, and the Heritage Village sponsored by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.
