The Newport International Boat Show, now in its 44th year, will take place September 11-14, 2014 on the Newport waterfront along America’s Cup Avenue in Newport, Rhode Island. East Coast boaters, get ready!
One of the largest in-water boat shows in the country and the premier show in New England, the Newport International Boat Show encompasses 13 acres and will host hundreds of exhibitors from around the world with power and sail boats ranging from 15 to 85 feet, plus a wide variety of accessories, equipment, electronics, gear and services for boaters.
Over 600 exhibitors – both domestic and international – will be showcasing and selling their products and services at the 44th Annual Newport International Boat Show. Many new models will be unveiled for the first time to the public. View hundreds of boats (Power & Sail) in water and on land, from small sail-craft to 85′ Cruisers situated on four sites over 13 acres. Come see, feel and test the merchandise and talk to those who designed and built it. You may need more than one day to do it!

The Newport International Boat Show is expected to draw tens of thousands to historic Newport. The event will showcase new products and boat models unveiled for the first time to the public, as well as announce the winners of the popular and newly enhanced Newport For New Products program that recognizes the best new powerboat; sailboat; navigation product; and boating operation, maintenance or safety product introduced for the first time in the U.S. Visitors will also enjoy opportunities to attend the annual Cruisers Party hosted by Cruising Outpost, educational seminars, on the water activities and training, as well as sample the best that Newport has to offer.
The Newport International Boat Show features a full range of powerboats and sailboats from both domestic and international manufacturers. Visitors will find an extensive selection of marine equipment, services and accessories in a venue that spans 13 acres of historic Newport Harbor. Excitement is overflowing due to the Volvo Ocean Race selection of Newport, RI as the North American stopover city in May, 2015! Thousands of people from all over the world are expected during the 2 week festival. Many exciting activities are in the works for everyone to enjoy; meet the sailors, watch inshore racing, visit the Main Village at Fort Adams State Park, attend a special concert at the Newport Yachting Center, etc.
NEWPORT FOR NEW PRODUCTS PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD – VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE DEBUT!
The Annual Newport For New Products Award program, now in its 9th season, recognizes the best new boat and boating product introductions for the 2015 model year, selected by industry experts and new this year- through a People’s Choice Award.
Attendees who come to the show on Thursday will receive a voting card with a detailed list of the NFNP entries and their location on the show site. New debuts will also be marked with red and blue mats to help make them easy to find. After choosing your favorite, drop your voting card at the Show Office by 6pm on Thursday night. Votes will be tallied that night and the winner of the 2014 NFNP People’s Choice Award will be announced Friday morning at the Awards Ceremony at the Sunset Lounge near the Newport Yachting Center Marina. And to make it even more exciting, one lucky People’s Choice voter will win an iPad with a $50 credit to the online Apple Store.
4TH ANNUAL CRUISERS PARTY- ALL BOATERS INVITED!
On Saturday, Sept. 13th, join others with your same passion for boating, along with the exhibitors and industry folks, for a great evening of refreshments and fun at the Cruisers Party, hosted by Cruising Outpost – a quarterly magazine and online interactive destination website created by Bob & Jody Bitchin and Crew. The Cruisers Party is a favorite event at major boat shows around the country! To attend, you must be inside the show gates on Saturday by 6:00 PM – no additional ticket needed. Prize drawing to benefit the “Call of the Sea Foundation;” live music, pizza, beer and soft drinks are free while they last, so come, kick back, and enjoy!
