Time Bandit, AK Bering Sea Crabber pulled into Seattle Ship Canal, in late August docking over at Fishermen’s Terminal. Relief Captain Eddie ran the boat down hill, yes he gives the standard meaning to the words – foul mouth crabber, manners need not apply and they don’t – our Salty Sea Chick & Salty Dog Lab has seen & been around enough of this from back in the day… till current, uggggg…… that’s enough about that salty topic. (YES, some crabbers do have proper manners, it does exist, it’s just rare in their native habitat!) After a stop over at Fishermen’s Terminal, at pit stop at Trident Seafoods Old Yard, then down the Fremont Cut to Lake Union, Northlake Shipyard to go dry for last summer shipyard work before the next AK Bering Sea Crabber Season, Lots to do!

Summer Bay, Wild Bill got a new Alaska Bering Sea Crabber, late summer nearly fall – Summer Bay zipped over from Pacific Fishermen Shipyard after getting a lot of summer work done to her. Summer Bay picked up and loaded pots at Fishermen’s Terminal West Wall, next up she’s westbound Wild Bill calling the locks for her Ballard Locks drop out into the Puget Sound to run up hill to Alaska Bering Sea for King Crab Season.

Northwestern, Marco Boat, Alaska Bering Sea Crabber, doing a St. Patrick’s Day Boat Flip Around at: Pacific Fishermen Shipyard.  Getting her bow worked on after last season’s massive wave with so much pressure bent the Northwestern steel bow.  Pacific Fishermen Shipyard in Ballard is the home port for the Northwestern when they hit the Seattle Ship Canal, it’s usually the 2nd home stop after they 1st zip over to Fishermen’s Terminal and at rapid fire unload the prior seasons pots.

Wizard, Keith and Crew Starboard wheel house wave by as they cruise under the Ballard Bridge for the lift. The Salty Wizard is unlike any other AK Bering Sea Crabber, he look and massive size is unique to AK Bering Sea Crabbers while she’s easily spotted underway in the Seattle Ship Canal.  Lots of AK Crabbers buzzing about!

EAT FRESH, BUY WILD!

God Bless our Fishermen, Fisherwomen & Their Families!
