Super Bowl XLVIII pits the Broncos’ explosive offense against a marauding Seahawks defense. It was just announced that the Seattle Boat Show will shut down early this year. Since Superbowl Sunday lands on the last day of the Seattle Boat Show on February 2, 2014 – the show will now shut down one day early on February 1st. It’s a good idea – otherwise brokers and booth exhibitors would be standing around twiddling their thumbs with no attendees!

The warp-speed pace also threatens defensive communication, thus limiting the calls available to the opposing coordinator. With physical fatigue and spotty communication spawning defensive breakdowns at every level, the Broncos scored the most points in NFL history during the regular season.

Carroll cleverly tweaks his ideal defensive personnel, based on circumstance, to put his unit in the best position to defend each play.

The Seahawks will don their road white jerseys matched with blue pants when they kickoff Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos on Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Denver Broncos – who are the home team in this year’s championship –announced they would be wearing their orange home jerseys.
It should be a familiar feeling for Seattle, who last showcased the white/blue uniform combo during the team’s 23-0 shutout victory over the New York Giants back in Week 15 at – yep, you guessed it – MetLife Stadium. The club is hoping a return to the site with duplicate gameday garb will produce another favorable result. The Seahawks are 2-1 all-time when wearing their white tops coupled with blue bottoms, winning on the road against the Atlanta Falcons, 33-10, in Week 10 and falling to the Detroit Lions, 28-24, in Week 8 last season.
