This year Pac Marine Expo is featuring – all these things we don’t want to think about, but will save your life at sea: man overboard, fire, sinking, abandon ship, injury, illness, engine failure, ruined mast or sails, popped tubes on an inflatable, lost at sea, drifting to the other side of the ocean… their are millions of types of at sea the emergencies, somebody somewhere has already survived it, training and practice will save lives.

Pacific Marine Expo is a crabbers delight and a bit of a reunion. Alaska Bering Sea Crabbers left late September to run uphill to fish red crab. October 15th crabbers hit the grounds, no pain, no gain begins. Crabber like the F/V Pinnacle left late September from Seattle Ship Canal, this big girl is 126 ft, beam of 38, draft of 16, around 200 tons, she’s huge and wide!
