Fishermen’s Fall Festival, Benefiting Seattle Fishermen’s Memorial, 30th Annual, Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018. Fishermen’s Fall Festival celebrates the return of a lot of Alaska fishermen and our North Pacific fishing fleet to the terminal; it works to increase the public’s knowledge of the importance of the fishing industry as well as Fishermen’s Terminal to Seattle while raising money for the Seattle Fishermen’s Memorial Foundation, in honor of our brothers and sisters lost at sea, taken into the sea.

Fishermen’s Fall Festival Special Events Include:

Survival Suit Races: Starts at 3:00 pm. The Survival Suite Races at the Fishermen’s Fall Festival is a great community event – especially since it highlights the safety gear that’s used on the vessels of the “Deadliest Catch”!  Each team has four people.  Anyone can race, even kids as long as they have a parent or guardian’s authorization.  It’s completely free to participate. Survival suits are provided. Each racer must start on the dock, get into a survival suit, jump into the water then swim 150 feet from the dock to the raft, when all members of the team, including their arms, legs, fingers and toes are in the survival raft, the time is called. The team with the fastest time WINS!
