This event at Fishermen’s Fall Festival; for this annual event is for pure fun and speed! Each survival suit team has ‘4 people’. Anyone can race, even kids as long as they have a parent or guardian’s authorization and approval. It’s completely free to take part. Just bring your field knife (check out the best field knife sharpener before you come), torch and waterproof trousers – we will provide the rest! Survival suits are provided.
Survival Suit – Race Rules: Each racer must start on the dock, get into a survival suit, jump into the water then swim 150 feet from the dock to the raft, when all members of the team, including their arms, legs, fingers and toes are in the survival raft, the time is called. The team with the fastest time WINS! Lots of yelling, cheering and excitement…. some teams train months in advance!
