The primary service at Fishermen’s Terminal is providing for Commercial Fisherman; it was discovered that  recreational boats and fishing boats are completely compatible with each other; in fact a lot of Commercial Fishermen keep their recreational boats at Fishermen’s Terminal.  Twenty percent of the fisherman have recreational boats docked at Fishermen’s Terminal.  “The Fishermen had a choice of ‘all commercial’ docks and ‘all recreational’ docks, being segregated.   They voted to mix them together,  everyone is compatible.  Our customers are all boaters,” says Ray Giometti, Fishermen’s Terminal Harbor Master.  Giometti is well known on the docks by his friendly smile and charisma, while always looking out for the best interest of his tenants.  Walking down the docks of Fishermen’s Terminal with Giometti is an experience engulfed with a lot of hurry up hard work by fishermen, sea storytelling, and thankful handshakes with greetings from regular boat tenants and seasonal boats who either stay and play or fishermen prepping the boat for the next run to find the fish.
